Alexandra specializes in working with young adults, parents, and family systems as well as clients experiencing difficult life transitions, anxiety and relational issues.

During her educational career, she attended Texas Christian University where she obtained a Bachelors degree in Psychology with a minor in Child Development.  While at TCU Alexandra gained her first clinical experience working at a non-profit agency, which helped flourish her passion for the field of counseling and helping others.

Since then she had pursued a Masters degree in Counseling from Southern Methodist University and have worked in a variety of clinical settings, including a non-profit agency for victims of domestic violence and private practice.  While working in these settings Alexandra has been able to gain experience working with variety of clients, including individual adults, victims of domestic violence, adolescents, and couples. She also has experience working with parents in a group counseling setting, where we discussed parenting styles, child-parent relationships, developing problem-solving skills, and communication skills.

Alexandra's goal for counseling is to cater to each clients unique needs by using a client-centered approach as well as a systems based approach.  She strive to provide clients with a safe and nonjudgemental space where we can work together to establish treatment goals.
