Jacqueline Avalos, MA, LPC
Jacqueline Avalos received her Master of Arts degree in Forensic Psychology in 2013 from Argosy University and has been providing mental health counseling ever since. She has worked in non-profit residential and outpatient facilities as well as private practice treating Posttraumatic Stress and Anxiety Disorders and she specializes in the neuro-physiological symptoms of neglect and attachment difficulties from childhood.
She is a Licensed Professional Counselor who has a passion for those suffering from trauma, attachment difficulties, anger, and anxiety. She sees individuals, children, and couples. Jackie is a full member of the EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) International Association and is EMDR certified. She is currently in training as an EMDR consultant.
Honorably discharged from the Marine Corps in 2010, Jackie served her country overseas for six years. With her husband, a Dallas Fire Fighter, she and her family are very engaged in her church and community.
