Miscarriage and Fertility Challenges Processing Group - A Group for Women
Bryna Talamantez, LMFT-Associate
It’s hard to believe that 10 to 15% of all pregnancies end as a miscarriage yet we do not live in a society that fully talks about the grief parents feel when this happens. To make matters even harder, women in their first trimester often don’t announce they’re expecting for fear of what happens if they do experience miscarriage.
When we are going through the feelings of miscarriage or experiencing fertility challenges, we feel alone and isolated. One way to help us processes these feelings is to do so with others who have shared experiences as us.
In our process group, we will hold a safe space in order for those who have suffered a miscarriage or are currently struggling with fertility challenges to express themselves in necessary ways to promote healing.
The group will begin on April 1, 2020 at 10 AM - 11 AM
Intake needs to be done prior to first session to ensure that each member is appropriate for the group.
