As a young teenage girl, you are going through a lot of changes. New friend, new schools, family changes, and body changes are enough to send anyone into stress about what is happening to them. Many teenagers are unaware that there are ways to help them manage all of the thoughts and feelings they are experiencing during this turbulence. In “Talk About It” we will learn new ways to talk about feelings and how to communicate and express in an appropriate and non-destructive way. A group setting is a safe and therapeutic environment in which to process thoughts and feelings. In this low risk space, teens will be able to learn and practice their new skills without fear of judgement as everyone is learning together. |
